· This point system awards points based on the competitive level in the class they are entered in, hence the more shooters, the more competitive, the more point available. The secretary will be responsible for keeping track of the points for the program. If the secretary position is vacant then the duty will be assigned to another OAA officer. IBO Classifications will be used at 3D shoots and a conversion chart will be used to adapt the points for the OAA SOY program. Points for only the spring and fall 3d tournaments will be as follows:
a) The points will be awarded to the OAA members as if everyone in their classes were OAA members. Unlike our other tournaments where the guests are in a separate class, in the spring and fall 3D the OAA member must beat all archers in their class so it is only fair they receive the points. Here is an example of how that would work: b) OAA Archers place 6th, 3rd, and 1st; there are 10 archers in the class. 1. OAA archer that placed 1st would get 10 Points 2. OAA archer that placed 3rd would get 8 Points 3. OAA archer that placed 6th would get 5 Points The OAA Constitution and Bylaws will be used to break any ties that may occur.
Here is the table that will be used for converting IBO to OAA for SOY points: IBO Classification | OAA Classification | FBH – FUTURE BOWHUNTERS | CR / CF | CUB – CUB | CR / CF | YMR 13-14 – YOUTH RELEASE AGES 13-14 | MYR / FYR | YF – YOUTH FINGERS | MYF / MYAF | YMR 15-17 – YOUTH RELEASE AGES 15-17 | MYAR / FYAR | FY – FEMALE YOUTH | FYF / FYAF | YTRD – YOUTH TRADITIONAL | MTRD / YTRD | HC – HUNTER CLASS | MBHR | FHC – FEMALE HUNTER CLASS | FBHR | HF – HUNTER FINGERS | MBHL / FBHL | SHC – SENIOR HUNTER | MS | MBO – BOWHUNTER OPEN | MFS | FBO – FEMALE BOWHUNTER OPEN | FFS | MBR – BOWHUNTER RELEASE | MFS | FBR – FEMALE BOWHUNTER RELEASE | FFS | MBF – BOWHUNTER FINGERS | MFSL \ FFSL | AHC – ADVANCED HUNTER CLASS | MBHR / FBHR | MCU – COMPOUND UNAIDED | MBB \ FBB | FSR – FEMALE SENIORS | FS | MSR – MENS SENIOR CLASS | MS | MCBH – MASTERS CLASS | MMS / FMS | X-BOW – CROSSBOW | No class equivalent | RU – RECURVE UN-AIDED | MTRD | LB – LONGBOW (formally MTRD) | MTRD | TRD – TRADITIONAL | MTRD | FTRD – FEMALE TRADITIONAL | FTRD | SPM – SEMI-PRO | MFS | PMR – PRO RELEASE | MFS | PRF – PRO FEMALE | FFS | PMF – PRO FINGERS | MFSL / FFSL | PSR – PRO SENIORS | MS / MMS / FS / FFS |
